Wild Ponies of Eriskay

Wild ponies on the island of Eriskay in March 2013. Eriskay is an island in the Outer Hebrides and is located between South Uist and Barra. This beautiful hilly island is around 3 miles long and 1.5 miles wide. Eriksay has a population of roughly 200 and the island is connected to South Uist by a causeway that was built in 2001.
